Treating Depression with Biofeedback
December 11th, 2008 by admin
Phil Bate PhD retired psychologist shares some interesting stories of people using biofeedback to treat their depression. He gave his patients an EEG device to use at home. The first was a depressed suicidal young man who after 40 1/2 hour session turned himself around and had no depression symptoms at all. The other was a woman who had her son use it for his ADHD. Just watching him train fired up the desire in her to do so as well. Both his ADHD and her depression were eliminated. A great alternative to medications it seems.
