Biofeedback is Non-Invasive

By using sensitive electronic equipment, biofeedback is capable of ’seeing’ inside the body and giving us a view of what our body is doing. All this without needles or surgery. While the CT scan and the MRI scan is capable of mapping out the physical structures of our body non-invasively, biofeedback can give us a clear picture of how our body is functioning depending upon which sensors are used. To name a few; EMG (electromyograph) sensors measure muscle activity, GSR sensors measure the galvanic skin response, temperature sensors measure temperature and respiration sensors measure the movement of our chest or abdomen during respiration.
